This last bit is important, as I had to do it for both the Automatron DLC and the Fallout 4 Season Pass. If you are playing Fallout 4 Automatron on PC via Steam then do the following: Log in to your Steam account. Navigate to Library. Right-click on Fallout 4. Select View Downloadable Content. Ensure the Install checkbox is enabled for the Automatron DLC to begin the download. Note: you may need to uncheck and the re-check the box to ensure the download begins. The steps are pretty easy, but there have been problems along the way that give some players a lot of trouble.

However, some have been having trouble just getting the DLC to actually download and install, so here’s a qucik guide to help you out.įor this we referenced Bethesda’s own how to on the topic, giving players on PS4, Xbox One, and PC hints as to how to download and install the Fallout 4 Automatron DLC. Those who have put hundreds of hours in should rejoice at the chance to try out the robot customization that the Automatron DLC offers. If you've never played Fallout and have got a lot of time on your hands, you could do a lot worse than spending a fiver on picking this up for your hard earned money you will be getting a lot of hours of play as long as you can get to grips with the combat system.Fallout 4 fans finally have something new to check out in the Wasteland. Luckily you can save whenever you like and carry on from that exact point, otherwise I would not be able to play it at all - I am lucky if I can grab 1 hour a day for gaming these days. Took me about an hour to get in game in the first place and it can take a good 10 - 15 minutes to even arrive at a story location, and then you need to add on time to complete it. I will profess and this is my problem with the game, if you don't have much spare time then its really hard to do anything. There is no denying the workmanship that has gone into creating a believable Post apocalyptic world and graphically on the Xbox one X it looks as good as on the pc for me (My pc can't do 4k yet) you will often be surprised at how colourful the world is with some really beautiful skies. Give me a sword to swing at someones head anyday. I have really been enjoying what I've played so far, the base building and collecting all sorts of random crap is probably my favourite part - the combat is what ruins it for me, no matter how good YOU are at aiming a gun you can still miss some shots unless you use your limited VATS but I like my combat to be more instantaneous. I am not the biggest fan of the Fallout games, much preferring the swords and sorcery of the Elder Scrolls. For that money you get a helluva lot of content. I bought this because it has dropped recently to sub £5 if you shop around.
